Industry Experience
Alexis is eager to expand her expertise through learning and growth opportunities at Schmidt Family Office™. She considers accountability, integrity, and client-focused business practices to be foundational to the industry and is intent upon serving clients accordingly.
Designations & Degrees
Alexis has earned her Bachelor of Management from the University of Alberta – Augustana, with a minor in English. She has also completed both the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook designations.
Volunteering
Alexis has volunteered her time by coaching kids’ basketball teams and camps. Basketball played a key role for her growing up, and she loves to see the difference it makes in kids’ lives. She also volunteers by putting her green thumb to work in the community garden near her church.
Accomplishments and Accolades
Alexis achieved multiple athletic and academic scholarships throughout her degree, and she wrapped things up by graduating with distinction.
Outside of the Office
Alexis enjoys spending time outside, no matter the season. She loves hiking, fishing, canoeing, and skiing and even seized the opportunity to go dogsledding as an elective in her degree.
If she is inside, you can find her reading all kinds of books or knitting. Alexis has travelled across Canada, The United States, and parts of Europe.
